With the Buddy
Finder, you can see the geographic location of your Buddies, and you
can share your whereabouts with your friends or family whenever you
want to.
Whether you want to make sure your daughter gets to
school safely or see where your friends are getting together. The Buddy Finder is the ideal companion
!

Note: You
can also find your buddies on the web interface, in the
member section, click on "Buddies/Groups"
and you will be able to see the position of your friends
or Group Members who have made their location available.
No Big
Brother here:
With Navizon's buddy Finder,
only users who are
member of your groups, or you have accepted as buddies,
can see your location. So you can only be located by the
people you want.
If at any time,
you don't want anyone to know where you are, you can
turn it off altogether by unchecking
"Send location", or setting your device to "Appear
Invisible".
For help using Buddy Finder, or to change your
privacy settings, please take a look at the
Buddy Finder setup below:

To add buddies, go to the members section:

-
Click on the “Buddies/Groups” tab and click
“Add Buddy”.
-
Type in your buddy’s email or Navizon username, and
a Buddy request will be sent to them.
-
Once they accept your
buddy request, you will both become Navizon buddies.
Note: If you don’t have a specific
buddy to add, but would still like to see others on your map,
you may join a group. (For more information on joining a group,
see Group Setup)

From the Map screen, hit Menu > Buddies
> then :
-
If you want your Buddies’ locations’ to be updated every
time Navizon Connects to the server, then hit
Update Live.
-
if you want to make your location available to your
buddies, and to members of your groups, then hit
Send
Location.

That’s it!!
You can now see your
buddies’ locations on your map, and you buddies will be able to
see you.

You now have the geographic
location of you buddies and fellow group members. Note the date and time of the location,
underneath your buddies’ name. You can tap on any dot, to see
the user at that specific location as well.
Remember, if you don’t want others to be
able to see your location, simply uncheck the Send Location
option under Menu > Buddies from the map screen.
Note: If you notice the screen re-centering on your location every few
seconds, you most likely have Lock on me checked in the
menu, to disable this, simply tap Menu > Lock on me from
the map screen.

To view the location of a buddy, simply
click “view” under Google Maps (to display the buddies’ location
in Google Maps online), or under Google Earth (to display
buddies’ location in Google Earth.)

Clicking “view” next to a group, will take
you to a map that with the locations of all the members of that
group

screen with the directional pad to see your buddies' locations. |
