  • With Navizon, you can create or join groups and display its members' geographic location thanks to the Buddy Finder

  • These groups can be anything you can think of: "Geocachers in the UK", "Find a date in New York city", "Cab drivers in San Francisco"... or if you want to make it a more private group "Joe Shmoe's family". Your imagination is the only limit.

  • To Create a group, click on the “Groups” tab on the top of the members section.

For more information, please see Groups Setup:

  • To join a group, go to the member section

  • Click on the “Buddies/Groups” tab

  • Then click “Join Group”.

  • From here, simply enter the name of the group and the password (for a private group) and click the button.

  • If you don’t know the name of the group you are looking for, you can browse a list of all the public groups by clicking the “View List of public groups” underneath the "Join button".

  • When you see the group you would like to join, Click the "Join button" on the left side of the page.

  • If there is no specific group you would like to join, you can join the public group by clicking the  button on the top of the page.

  • If you want to start a new group, just click the “Create/Edit group” tab on the “Buddies/Groups” page.

From this page, you can:

  • Enter the name you would like to call your group and a password (if you want to make your group private) with the “Password protected” checkbox.

  • Enter a short description explaining who you are creating your group for.

  • If your group has a discussion board, you can enter the URL

  • If you want your group to be listed with other public groups in the directory make sure the “List in public directory” checkbox is checked.

Note: If you choose to leave the box unchecked, then your group will be hidden, and users may only join by entering the name of the group.

Click the  "Create button" at the bottom, and start recruiting members.

To view your fellow group members locations on a map, see the Buddy Finder.
