Changing your Visibility

For many of Navizon's features to work properly, you need to configure Navizon so that your location information is sent to the Navizon server.

You can change these settings whenever you want, and you have full control over who is able to see your location.

To make sure your device is "Visible" please select your device type:

 iPhone
 Windows Mobile
 Symbian
 Blackberry

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) When you start Navizon, quickly tap "Cancel" in the top right corner, and you will be brought to the settings screen:

2) Next to "Appear Visible" slide the option to "On"

3) If the "Appear Visible On" box popped up, then you are now visible. Slide the setting to "Off" if you want to hide your location from your buddies and the Navizon server. (Note: this will prevent certain features from seeing your location.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) From the Map screen, hit Menu > Buddies > Make sure "Send Location" is checked.

2) To turn your Visibility off, simply repeat.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) From the main screen, tap Menu > Options > Buddies > and make sure the box next to "Appear Visible" is checked.

2) Then hit Menu > and tap "Save"  to save your settings.

3) If you do not want to be visible, then simply uncheck the box next to "Appear Visible" and save.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Press the Blackberry Button > then select Options > then click on "Buddies"

  • Make sure the box next to "Appear Visible" is selected.

2) To exit press the Blackberry Button > and select "Save"
