Navizon SDK and API

There are different ways you can include the Navizon Positioning engine in your own application

- The client-side SDK is a library that you can include in your own mobile application. It is available for several platforms. It will let you get the geographic location of the device simply by calling a simple function from this library.

- The Web-Service API: if you already have the Cell-IDs and or WiFi Mac addresses the the device is able to see, our API can convert it into the geographic location. Just submit this information via an HTTP query to our central server and you will receive the location back.

- The Enterprise Solution: if you want to optimize the performance of your location queries you can use our Enterprise Server. It consists in having the entire server engine running on your own servers. This offer several benefits such as being independent of the Navizon central server and minimizing the response time for each lookup (less than 10ms per lookup)

Web Service API

If you already have the Cell-ID or WiFi mac addresses visible by your device and simply need an engine that will convert this information into a geographic location, then the Web-Service API might be for you.

Just send the Cell-ID or Wifi information to our Web-service URL and you will receive the geographic location back (latitude, longitude and radius of confidence).

Feel free to contact us if you have further technical questions or if you would like to obtain pricing information.

Enterprise solution

If you are in a large entity interested in licensing the Navizon positioning engine while having full administrative control of the backend, the Navizon Enterprise Server might be the right solution for you. The way it works is a little bit similar to the Web-service API (you can obtain the location of any Cell tower or Wifi access point) only that this lookup happens locally on your own servers.

This offer several benefits such as:

- optimal response time (8ms per lookup).
- you are independent of the Navizon server and the database runs locally within your own facility. This offers you complete administrative power and guarantees a 100% uptime.
